Position Overview:
ASD High School English teachers are responsible for planning and implementing the educational teaching plan according to the schoolβs requirements and in compliance with the KHDAβs guideline for schools. He/she creates an educational atmosphere where knowledge and instruction are provided to students, and students are assessed in a variety of ways throughout the course of the year. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching reading and writing (both modern and classic literature) and using innovative ways to assess student learning and mastery. In addition, he/she should be able to effectively collaborate with other teachers to coordinate curriculum instruction and delivery. The ideal candidate will focus on skill development and will provide timely feedback to students for growth and improvement in a variety of ways and has the ability to teach grades 9-12.
